SotoSolWalk 2014 – Danii Cancer Charity – Sotogrande Spain

We covered this event 3 years ago and return this year when the event takes on an even greater significance.
Danii Dick, a final year IB diploma student continues to show her incredible strength of character as she embarks on a second round of treatment for cancer. When Danii was first diagnosed with cancer over two years ago, she set up a charity to support and help families such as hers who were facing the fight against cancer. She has raised an incredible €42,400.00 to date.

This year the “Sotosolwalk” marks Danii’s graduation from school and she wishes to raise a record amount.

Kerry Wickersham (Head of Music at SIS) acted as our ON.tv Channels TV Presenter for the event – his first attempt so to speak and a great job he did as you can see!

This event is either 10K/16k walk or 16k run which started at the Sotogrande International School at 9.30 with registration and a warm-up session and ended at ‘The Hairy Lemon’ bar in Sotogrande port.

With your help you can make this wish become a reality. Support childhood cancer by visiting Danii’s site to read her story and to donate.
