Nile Rodgers & CHIC in concert with Odyssey & Jaki Graham at the Puente Romano, Marbella

Sotogrande Television covered the recent Concert at the Puente Romano in Marbella on Friday 3rd August 2012. The evening’s Headliner was ‘CHIC with Nile Rodgers’ along with supporting acts ‘Odyssey’ and ‘Jaki Graham’

This truly memorable night started with a short welcoming glass of Champagne for some lucky VIP guests with the Concert kicking off with the UK’s Queen of Soul Singer ‘Jaki Graham’ – who came onto the stage in the fading daylight and performed into the early darkness on a perfect Marbella Summer’s evening.

Jaki was followed by the famous band ‘Odyssey’ who sang all their hits from the 70’s and 80’s including ‘Native New Yorker’.

Then came the Headliner act of the evening ‘CHIC with Nile Rodgers’ and what a performance! Every song they performed were written by Nile himself – this man is a true legend in the music industry….

Nile is responsible for writing a string of major hits spanning the last thirty years – this list is quite staggering! They include ‘Le Freak’ – I Want Your Love – Lost in Music – Good Times and many, many more…

Our Presenter Samantha Dorricott met up with Nile shortly after he came off stage and asked this true music legend for his thoughts on the night’s performance and also asked him about his impressive past career and any present projects..
