Estepona National Show Jumping Championship – 2011

This Standard Definition (in 4:3 format) piece is part of our old SD video ARCHIVES…

The 11th National Show Jumping Competition, this year sponsored by Barclays Bank was held at the Estepona Riding Centre.

This year it was run over 4 days from 28th – 31st July with many International riders taking part.

We attended on the final day with our Presenter Jo Ross-Crawley, a keen horsewomen herself!

We were lucky enough to interview the sponsors as well as the owner of the riding centre, along with one of the competitors Alejandro Maldonado riding his horse Chipy. Alejandro is a well known local Spanish competitor and who had won on the previous day’s event.

A truly fantastic local riding facility and only 15 minutes drive from Sotogrande – and we think well worth a visit.
